The Scales are smooth or stippled, will be noted for each scale set. The scales and back spacer combo reduces the weight of the knife by about .8 ounces (4 quarters) compared to the g10 variant. The material is not as ridged compared to the other materials where there maybe slight offset to the blade when closed, this doesn’t affect the function of the knife.
